Everyday Cross Body Bag

$5.00

The Everyday Cross Body Bag was inspired by the new found popularity of cross body bags in the last few years. There are tons of patterns out there to make a cross body bag using crocheted granny squares. Whilst I am learning how to crochet, knitting is my thing, but I didn’t see many patterns for knit ones. I figured I could knit squares and construct them in the same way the granny squares are constructed to make a cross body bag, thus the Everyday Cross Body bag was born. For my bag I went stash busting and chose to use cotton I had in my stash, but you could use almost any yarn you’d like, as long as your squares are the same size. The strap I bought, as I wanted something secure, and adjustable. This can be used as a light bag, if you choose to not line it with fabric, or you can choose to pick a cute fabric to line your bag with. Ultimately, I wanted to make a knit version of all the crochet bags I was seeing, something to grab and go with, just enough to fit your phone, keys, wallet, and essentials.
